Best of the old/Best of the new: Unifying The Wall Street Journal typography.

Che Douglas, Global Head of Design at The Wall Street Journal, will discuss the recent undertaking to simplify, standardize and modernize the typography of all WSJ brand experiences.

Che Douglas was born in South Australia. He is a graduate of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). Che was the Founder and Creative Director of BTP Design, a leading branding and digital design studio in Melbourne, Australia. His company achieved recognition as one of the top design studios within the Australian design community. As a result Che frequently lectures at events and universities, has been a juror on numerous award panels and twice had a seat on the AGDA Biennale Committee in 2012 and 2014. As the sole director of BTP he supported and serviced hundreds of clients for a period of eight years before closing to relocate to New York with Dow Jones. Where he is currently the Global Head of Design at The Wall Street Journal and oversees a team of product and user experience designers.
