Angela Voulangas
Angela Voulangas is co-founder and partner with Doug Clouse in The Graphics Office, a graphic design and exhibition design firm in NYC. Together they wrote and designed The Handy Book of Artistic Printing, a study of late 19th century decorative letterpress printing published by Princeton Architectural Press.
Angela studied at Yale and has held positions at The New York Public Library, Donovan and Greene, and Ralph Appelbaum Associates, among others. She has served as judge on the Type Directors Club annual competition and Print Magazine’s Regional Design Annual. She has written for Print and Grafik magazines and maintains (What Is This?), a blog of visual bric-a-brac, obscurities and ongoing research.
Her work has been recognized by the AIGA, the Type Directors Club, the American Federation of Arts, the Victorian Society in America, and the Art Directors Club.
