The TDC is proud to sponsor the conference Ampersand NYC on November 2, 2013. Ampersand NYC is a day-long event about web typography and, based on its success in the UK, it promises to be stimulating and popular. There have been three Ampersand conferences in seaside Brighton, England and this is the first in the United States.

Ampersand NYC is going to be held in the crisp TimesCenter in the convenient midtown New York Times building. The schedule of speakers now includes:

…and they will be talking about everything from responsive design to icon fonts. There are many reasons to register: the speakers, the community, the afterparty (hosted by Typekit) and the coffee breaks “sponsored by Hoefler & Frere-Jones” (we’re curious to see what that means!).
