Glyphs: a new font editor now in public beta
Glyphs is a new font editor for the Mac, in public beta testing right now. Anyone can download and test drive it, and ostensibly use it for OpenType font design. (There are still some bugs, but the creator seems to be responding to beta testers’ concerns quickly in each new release.) One of Glyphs major advantages is that it allows live testing of the font in the context of real words. This may make the time-consuming process of setting up kerning a little easier.
