Join us for a reception to honor the exhibition of work by the 2018 Ascenders, nineteen designers under the age of 35 selected by the TDC’s Board of Directors to showcase their remarkable achievement in typography, type design, and lettering.

This event marks the opening of the Ascenders exhibition, which will be on display at the Type Directors Club in New York through September 7.

Designers: Guillermo Vizzari (Argentina), Nathalia Cury and Alexandre Liindenberg (Brazil), Daniel Robitaille (Canada), Zhao Liu (China), Hrvoje Živčić (Croatia), Philipp Neumeyer (Denmark), Wael Morcos (Lebanon), Adriana Longoria (Mexico), Mateusz Machalski (Poland), Pedro Leal (Portugal), Mark De Winne (Singapore), Jaime Fernández and Albert Trulls (Spain), and from the United States — Kevin Cantrell, Tien-Min Liao, Nick Misani, Juan Carlos Pagan, Tré Seals, and Lynne Yun.

This group was selected from 230 outstanding designers from 39 countries.
