This exhibition, which runs through September 6, presents the work of the 2018 Ascenders, nineteen designers under the age of 35 selected by the TDC’s Board of Directors for their remarkable achievement in typography, type design, and lettering.

This group of Ascenders was selected in July 2018 from portfolios submitted by 230 outstanding designers from 39 countries. The exhibition presents portfolios by nineteen designers from thirteen countries.

Designers: Guillermo Vizzari (Argentina), Nathalia Cury and Alexandre Liindenberg (Brazil), Daniel Robitaille (Canada), Zhao Liu (China), Hrvoje Živčić (Croatia), Philipp Neumeyer (Denmark), Wael Morcos (Lebanon), Adriana Longoria (Mexico), Mateusz Machalski (Poland), Pedro Leal (Portugal), Mark De Winne (Singapore), Jaime Fernández and Albert Trulls (Spain), and from the United States — Kevin Cantrell, Tien-Min Liao, Nick Misani, Juan Carlos Pagan, Tré Seals, and Lynne Yun.
