Letter As Object: Drawing Representational Letterforms Workshop with Sasha Prood – Cancelled

October 7, 2017 @ 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Developing representational lettering is primarily about balancing the clarity of the object and the integrity of the letterform. Sasha will lead workshop participants through this process, explaining the different approaches she has taken over the years to create these typographic illustrations. Students will start off the morning conceptualizing multiple directions based on a project brief. After reviewing sketches as a group, participants will focus on refining one of these approaches further, before moving on to final art. By the end of the day students should have drawings from each stage of the representational lettering process to continue to develop and reference as they go on to create future work.

Lunch will be provided.
