ECV Nantes is hosting the 63rd Annual Communications Design and 2017 Typeface Design Exhibitions of Type Directors Club in Nantes, France at Galerie Loire, Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Nantes. This marks the 25th year that ECV (Ecole de Communication Visuelle) has served as the official sponsor of the Type Directors Club annual exhibition in France.

The “Type Directors Club 63” exhibition will include over 200 selections of winning work from the TDC’s annual international typeface design competition and communication design competition selected by an international jury of top designers.

The exhibition displays typography in a wide range of categories including books, posters, corporate branding, logos, web graphics, film and TV titles, products, and magazines from many countries including the United States, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the People’s Republic of China, South Korea, and others.

The exhibition is on display in Nantes from February 21 through March 17. This TDC63 exhibition opens in Nantes following the exhibition’s October debut in Paris and additional exhibitions in Tokyo, Seoul, Warsaw, Madrid, Bielefeld, Bangkok, Hanoi, London, and New York.

Each year, the faculty of ECV Nantes asks graphic design students to submit designs for the branding and identity of the exhibition. This year, the student team selected is Lea Ede, Anne Grignon, Alexandra Puchnaty, and William Sanz.
