Chavon – La Escuela de Diseno is currently hosting the 63rd Annual Communications Design and 2017 Typeface Design Exhibitions of Type Directors Club on campus in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

The “Type Directors Club 63” exhibition includes over 200 selections of winning work from the TDC’s annual international typeface design competition and communication design competition selected by an international jury of top designers.

The exhibition displays typography in a wide range of categories including books, posters, corporate branding, logos, web graphics, film and TV titles, products, and magazines from many countries including the United States, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the People’s Republic of China, South Korea, and others.

The exhibition is on display in Santo Domingo from March 6 through April 6. This exhibition was arranged through TDC’s Latin American liaison Diego Vainesman, who will also be teaching a workshop for students this month.

This TDC63 exhibition opens in Santo Domingo following the exhibition’s tour to Tokyo, Seoul, Warsaw, Madrid, Bielefeld, Bangkok, Hanoi, London, and New York.
