Free and open to the public. See the annual design exhibition at Shintaro Akatsu School of Design (SASD) on the University of Bridgeport campus. The show features works by international designers who have been awarded Certificates of Excellence by the juries of TDC 63, the Type Directors Club international competitions for Communication Design and Type Design — “The World’s Best Type and Typography.”

Designers whose works are exhibited in TDC63 work in graphics, packaging, environments, logos, corporate branding, magazines, typefaces, and more — and all at the top of their game!

The jury for the TDC63 Communication Design competition consisted of Nicholas Blechman, Mike Essl, Bryony Gomez-Palacio, Natasha Jen, Jon Key, Gemma O’Brien, and Susan Sellers. Chris Sergio and Catherine Casalino served as the co-chairs. The jury for TDC Typeface Design competition consisted of Sahar Afshar, Verena Gerlach, YuJune Park, and Dyaa Weissman, with Elizabeth Carey Smith serving as the chair.
