This exhibition celebrates the creative output of the 2018 class of the Type@Cooper Extended Program, which offers a Postgraduate Certificate in Typeface Design through the Continuing Education Department of The Cooper Union, in conjunction with the Type Directors Club. Participants have been guided by top industry professionals at Cooper Union’s New York City campus on key typeface design principles — technique, aesthetics, expression, history, and theory.
