With All the Types & Lyrics – Calligraphic Interpretations of Kleiton & Kledir Songs

May 31, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Kleiton & Kledir and their innovated southern music style are the basic reference for those interested in understanding the new Brazilian music. They have produced more then 20 albums, recorded in Rio de Janeiro, Los Angeles, New York, Lisbon, Paris, Miami, and Buenos Aires. Their compositions have been performed by famous interpreters around the world and, along their carreer, K&K received numerous awards and have been honored several times.

Their latest album “Com Todas as Letras” makes a connection of literature with popular music and brings unpublished partnerships between K&K and known names of Brazilian literature.

For this project 10 calligraphers from all over the world were invited to express their art through the interpretation of each of the 10 songs in the CD. Each one received the complete lyrics and had two double spreads to freely use.
