Gary Munch
Gary Munch’s type design work leans towards text faces, though an occasional display face is known to wander his harddrives.
His designs include UrbanScrawl, Nanogram, Linotype Ergo, and Linotype Really, and Microsoft Candara.
Currently (2008) Lecturer in Design at the University of Bridgeport, he hopes to ensure that at least someone knows how and when and why to type a real quotation mark.
He served as chair of the TDC2 2002 type design competition and the TDC50 2004 typography competition, and was the webmaster for the TDC website, from 2000 to 2008.
