Rosanne Guararra
Rosanne Guararra is currently the Creative Director/VP at Triumph
Learning, an educational publishing house in New York City. Previously, she was the art director at Grosset & Dunlap/Price Stern Sloan, the mass market imprints of Penguin Young Readers Group where she responsible for upwards of 300 book covers per year. She has also been art director at Golden Books, Simon and Schuster Children’s Trade and Education Division, and Highlights for Children. Her book covers and designs have won many awards including the New York Book Show, 3-Dimensional Illustrators/Art Directors, American Graphic Design Award, and AEP (Association of Educational Publishers).
She has been a guest speaker and run workshops at SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators), Pratt Institute, and at the Chautauqua Writers Conference. Rosanne is also a fine artist whose medium is hand-made felt. Her work has been in galleries and is owned by private collectors.
