Steve Byers
Steve Byers is an educator, author and consultant, professionally trained in the creative graphic arts. He has 30 years of international experience in the publishing industry. While at Linotype, Steve identified, developed, and managed strategic partnerships with Apple Computer, Adobe Systems, Sun Microsystems, Xerox, and others, to bring Linotype font products to the computer industry and the electronic consumer market.
He has presented complex technical concepts and/or described business and financial opportunities, to boards of directors, the university community and professional associations.
Mr. Byers received his professional training at Yale University and Carnegie Mellon University. He is a former board menber of the Association Typographique International, Basel, Switzerland, and a member of the original ISO Typographic Steering Committee.
