Bushwick has been gentrifying for several years as artists move to it from Williamsburg. Yet, the neighborhood is large enough that there is still much fascinating commercial signage, architectural lettering and vernacular writing to see. We will see former breweries and banks, churches (both defunct and functioning), public schools, barbershops and the usual auto shops. Neon is not likely, but there will be inscriptions, metal lettering, vacuum formed plastic lettering, graffiti and more.

Each TDC lettering walk visits a new neighborhood in New York. This trip to Bushwick will be our first tour of a Brooklyn neighborhood in four years. Don’t miss it.
