New Transport + New Newspaper Fonts

Henrik Kubel graduated from Denmark’s Design School in 1997, and went on to complete a Postgraduate degree in Communication Art & Design at the Royal College of Art in 2000. Upon graduation Henrik co-founded A2/SW/HK with fellow graduate Scott Williams.
A2/SW/HK has a conceptual approach to design across various media, including design for print, screen and interiors. The studio works with leading national and international clients including: Phaidon Press, Royal Mail, Penguin New York, Friends of the Earth, Wallpaper*, The Photographers’ Gallery, Afterall, the Design Museum in London, Faber & Faber, Tate, RIBA, UK Government, Vogue UK, Expedia, Motorola, Harvard University Press, MoMA and Aperture Magazine in NYC.
In 2000 the team established A2-TYPE to release and distribute a decade’s worth of specially crafted typefaces. The foundry design custom fonts for clients worldwide.
Henrik is teaching type design at Royal College of Art in London and is a member of AGI, Alliance Graphique Internationale.
