Communication Design Winners

The winners from the TDC Communication Design competition are listed here. We will be continually adding content to this page to make sure all of our winners have a place to shine and that their work is featured prominently.

2018

The jury selected 265 winners from over 2,000 entries from 55 countries. The winners are included in eight exhibitions that are touring cities in the United States, Belgium, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Poland, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan and Vietnam.

The winners have been included in seven exhibitions touring 30 cities in the United States, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Poland, Peru, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam. Abott Miller designed the TDC61 e-Call for Entries and designed Typography 36 which was published in December 2015.

The team at Collins designed the TDC60 e-Call for Entries and Typography 35, which was published December 2014.

The jury selected 215 winners from 17 countries selected from a total of more than 2,000 entries from 37 countries. These winners were included in seven exhibitions touring cities in the United States, Canada, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Russia, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam. Chip Kidd was the designer of the TDC59 e-Call for Entries and Typography 34, which became available December 2013 and was published by Collins Design, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.

2012

There was a total of 1600 entries from 33 countries: of the total, 806 (52%) from the U.S. and 732 (48%) from other countries. Total work selected included 223 from 21 countries. Of the total number 98 (44%) from the U.S. and 125 (56%) from other countries. The countries include: Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea,  The Netherlands, New Zealand,  Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, and Switzerland. Paula Scher, Pentagram Design, was the designer of the TDC58 e-Call for Entries and designed Typography 33, which was available December 2012 and published by Collins Design, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.
